I should have asked while I was there, but how does the bottle thing typically work?

Say I was to buy them. Do I get new or used bottles. Then how does the gas filling go? Do I just exchange for a full bottle or do I take mine to get filled?

Usually it's a tank exchange as long as you have bottles they will accept. I think from what I have seen the victor sets have dot approved bottles. If you don't have dot bottles they may not fill them and you may have to buy a bottle.
