What do you use for a cutting board?

I have some bamboo boards and one made of pressed wood with formica on one side but my favorite ones are the thin sheets of plastic you get at Wally, you get 4 of them for $10. I like how you can bend them to funnel food into the skillet or bowl.

Any way I'm getting ready to throw the last one away, before I go buy some more I wanted to see if there was something out there better or easier to use.

Like the plastic board with a lip that goes over the counter edge. I use the thin plastic sheets to funnel stuff from time to time.

I use this one Profboard Private-Series/670 30 x 50 White (incl. 3 Sheets)

I use a maple cutting board. I sand and refinish the surface once a year. Bamboo is durable but hard on the knife edge. I hope they will come up with a truly self-healing synthetic material that remains sanitary.

I get the 9$ thick plastic at sams club its huge so I cut it in half.. usually lasts 2 years or so.

I cut mostly veggies on it but if meat I put it through the dishwasher.

I usually use the plastic ones. We have an under the counter cutting board holder and the original board saw better days so I had some custom made by some online cutting board store. We also have some smaller boards that we got free from a casino in Vegas.

Epicurean here too.
I have a bamboo board but those always need tlc so they don't split.
The Epicurean I can throw into the diswasher and I don't have to worry about melting or gouging.
I've had mine for 9 years

We use cheap plastic ones from WM. They are about 1/4” think with a rim. They go straight in the dishwasher. Wife refuses to have wood due to contamination concerns from items like chicken.

Just my $0.02
