Cut Open Mitsubishi MZ690072 filter

On a 2011 Mitsubishi Lancer 2.4 for 4 months~ & 6,000 miles~. Currently at 123,400.

MZ690072 with 0W-20 Total Quartz 9000 Xtra came out.
S7317XL & STP 0W-20 went back in.

I like this one better than MZ690116.

I had one of these on my brand new 2014 Mits Outlander. It was on there gorilla tight. Nice to finally see its innards after I mangled it beyond recognition removing it. Never bought another one.
 
A very close relative to the Toyota Thai Denso OEM. Looks good.

In the 1990s the Mitsubishi engines that came in the new Clark Fork lifts had factory oil filters that were the same as the Toyota's snow flake element . I been cutting open filter on occasion since the 1970s. I would say yes on the ND. brand.
