Yes it could go longer.

Probably going to one year changes on this vehicle as I need to look at it at least that often and once it is here might as well do the work.

You took some awesome pictures DuckRyder! Some of the best focused/clean pics yet on BITOG.

llacktide and sw99 y'all are welcome.

Onetor, thank you, I do try, it is nice to know they are appreciated.

incognito these are great filters, had an M1 so I stuck that on it was hard to turn down the extra rebate on the M1 filters...

Nice! That's the filter I run on my 08 Jeep. I ran the last one for about 12k miles, or 2 oil changes. I may run the next one for three and take it to 18k. I do 6k OCI's on that Jeep due to the lifetime powertrain warranty. Otherwise, I'd run 10k on Mobil 1 EP in it. Heck, it uses enough oil that by the time I'd get to 10k, I will have added its full capacity in makeup oil, anyway....about 6 quarts, Lol!

Hi Adam, you are welcome as usual.

It is off of a 2002 Ranger 3.0L with about 74,000 total miles (Not the same Ranger the Valvoline filter was off of, there are 2 of them in the family). Oil was 5w30 M1 EP and has been in there for about a year. I have the oil sample, but again debating sending it in. Will wrap the element to dry once the excess drains and post dried out pictures later.

Great filter. I'm running XGs when I can. In my parents car they handle a 2 year duty cycle averaging ~13k miles. Oil dropped yearly (which is probably overkill with AFE 0w30).

My Jeep specs an XG3614, but I run the 3600 because it is a little bigger and holds a little more oil. I wonder if that size translates into more dirt holding (it should) and if I could run it even further than 20k in that Chrysler 3.8 application? I don't have the nerve to do it, but I'd bet it would do just fine.
