On I95 90 mph is the norm and in the low speed lane they won't allow you to go the speed limit

I had jokers flash the lights on me going 75 mph when they had 3 open lanes to move in... I didn't move for them.

Looks fast just sitting there. However, by comparison to today's better EV's, like JeffKeryk's M3p, it's a slug.

I make no secret that I like to move along. But 50 over, that's way out of my league.. Here in FL it is good to remember that 1 to 15 (maybe 14 in some locations) MPH over the limit is 3 points and a generally lower fine. 16+mph over the limit is 4 points and a higher fine. All of my tickets have been for 9 over. Whether hard braking was involved or not, I'll never say...

I did get one laser ticket that was undeserved. The scan-down-method was used on me, where the laser gun was swept down from root top to bumper, repeatedly until a higher reading resulted. I was able to demonstrate the issue in court. Dash cam helps a lot here. Not only does it show the actual speed, it shows the scan-method being used. Note: the distance measured by Lidar changes (rooftop to bumper) and inflates the speed displayed.

Would like to see how the new law plays out in a few months, and after a few arrests/court cases. My thought is that there will be a few arrests early on, then pled out in court, or not pursued by Prosecutor/Solicitor/District Attorney. Police will get blase' with enforcement due to no follow through by prosecutors and everything goes back to the way it was before the new law took effect. Seen it happen.

Ive driven on that stretch of road about 300 times.

It amazes me how little respect for the law people have.

I agree. The judicial system makes it a joke. There should be very strict enforcement with very little leniency OR realize that the law is dumb. Laws shouldn't be in place to enforce randomly.

I also disagree with pre-crime laws when nothing objectively wrong has occurred.
