OK then...from your title description I thought someone was selling Cadillac cats really cheap.
Did they at least pick up all those pieces of catalyst media and recycle them for the platinum?

IIRC it's like $300 an ounce of the platinum and palladium that's in them.

Kinda surprising it held onto the valves. If he'd actually driven it...well, I don't even want to think about that.

I want the new 2009 CTC-V.Should have left everything the way it was.Too many upgrades in my opinion.Just buying a V is alot in itself.Joe
Why would he even leave the cat on? That thing probably wouldn't be emissions compliant with his add-ons anyway.

from the comments it sounded like he messed up wiring. IF he added that AEM low imp box for the injectors and used the stock injectors for it, I have no idea what kind of adverse side effects that will cause..

I think it was that power steering reservoir relocation mod that did it! the "mods" that people list make me laugh.

It was probably needed to provide space for the turbo and piping.
When I turbo'ed my SVT Contour, the battery had to be moved to the trunk to make room for the turbo and the air to water inter-cooler box.
We also put the tank for the inter-cooler in the trunk.

I listened to the audio again a couple times. I love some of the recorded comments, particularly, "that dust can't be good for you..." spoken as they're all standing in a cloud of dirty exhaust and catalyst remains.
