CS5 in snow

I'm on my 2nd week with CS5 Ultra on my 2006 Camry and had to deal with ice/wet shortly after installation. The CS5 did very well. I will also way they are extremely quiet! I never realized how quiet my Camry should be because the tires that were on when I bought the car were Yokohama Avid and I replaced those tires with Hankook H727. Both tires were much louder even new and cupped half way though their life which made them even louder.

Ill be replacing Dunlop Sig2 that were on the car when I bought. They have been a decent tire, and thought about replacing with the same then came across the CS5 and thought maybe id give them a try.
I have the 2nd set of Hankook 727 on our Honda Odyssey and have been happy with those and how they have held up. If the Cooper is as good or better then should be set.

Our winter has been pretty mild so far (thankfully). My CS5 Grand Touring did perform well in the 2-3" of snow we received recently.
I've been really impressed with the wet traction so far. We've had plenty of wet weather since I've owned them.

i have the cs5 grand touring on a toyota yaris sedan.
pretty good 2-3 inch traction. no fishtailing, but i drove the conditions...

I agree ice is ice and you still have to drive the conditions. I guess its subjective.. Our Ody had Michelin Energy LX4 from the factory on it, not impressive at all wet snow etc. Went to Hankook 727 and much better all around. Hoping the Cooper acts more like the Hankook not the Michelin.....
I have to get a set of all seasons for the minivan in a couple of months (Nitto SN2 winter tires on their second season on it now...phenomenal winter tire...but that's another story). I've got the CS5, General Altimax RT43 and Firestone Precision Touring on my short list (can't find much in the way of reviews for the CS5). I know the CS5 is a different tire but the CS4's I had on my 'ol PT Cruiser wore quickly and were so-so in the snow.

I have the same winter tire, also in its second season. But I put about 25k on them last winter. Their traction is very good and they are very predictable, tread life is remarkable. But now with anther 7k on them they are getting LOUD, I mean really loud to the point I'm concerned there is a problem with the front left tire.
