I can re-use them a few times without any problem. I sometimes buy one OEM washer, and buy a bulk pack from Advance Auto.
On my Mitsubishi, the transfer case and differential crush washers really can only be used once. Nobody at the major parts stores knows the right washer for the transfer case and differential. I was stuck going to the dealer.
