I'm asking this for future reference, when I go to install an LX9 top swap on my car.
I know I don't have a spun bearing, but when I do dig into the engine, I was considering re-ringing the motor and replacing the bearings, just to be sure.
My questions are these. If there is no scoring, is it needed? And if there is minor scoring, does the crank need to be turned, or can I use an emory cloth or something else to polish it up?
I've seen pics of bad scoring, and if its that bad, I know it needs to be turned.
