Craftsman at ACE

Those new Craftsman combination wrenches that have the "splined" look to the box end are made in China. They look nice, and I was considering buying a set for the novelty I guess, but I didn't.

You can check the reviews on Craftsman.com, but I looked at the label in the store.

In CA, OSH also sell Craftsman.

But a real good tip is to check out Sears Outlet. They have some quite big reductions on Sears stock including Craftsman.

Sears has got themselves in a tough spot. They still have more cool man-stuff there but just last week Lowe's had Kobalt 10pc combo wrench sets for $19...made in USA. I never see deals like that at Sears anymore. And if I do I think it is for sets they made especially for that deal and they are made in China.

Kmart Holdings corp. bought Sears in 2005, not the other way around. The push for the merger was from Edward Lampert who owned a significant amount of both companies.

was at ace today and asked the tool salesmen about craftsmen tools..will have a nice selection but not hardly as good as sears and returns will not be like what you can get at sears..you will need a receipt.also the price is higher..just go to sears..also i bought the 260-pc mechanics tool set for 199 bucks reg for 299. on the tools says made in usa...

Ace sells some Snap-On stuff too.. the LED lights, worklights, and gloves.. so far.

Costco sells the same stuff. But its all made in China with a Snap-on logo slapped-on it.
