Looks nice! As you can imagine on Submarines parts are hard to come by. Weld repair is done very often.

Thanks. In the early 80s I welded on the inner bow of an Ohio class sub at Bath Iron Works Bath, Me. Electric Boat sub let that work to BIW.

I worked at Fore River shipyard for 11 yrs. Welding by hand is an industrial art. Lotsa TIG on an LNG tanker
