Cracked Engine Block Any good fix??

I just read in the cadillac forum where someone with a similar leak was advised to try "Bars Leak Golden Seal" He was told not to use a liquid metal product, because it might clog the heater core. G.M. also has supplemental coolant tabs that help stop leaking. I would try one of these products and if it doesn't work then an epoxy type sealant might. If I remember right most of the leaking blocks occurred in the older 4.1,4.5 and 4.9 pushrod engines.

It cant hurt anything right? I would try the bars leak and trade it in, a 2000 Northstar still has good trade in value. Our last Cadilac was a 92 Seville and it did the same thing and I did the same thing I referred to you. We have much better luck with Lincolns now.
