CQ Blue date codes

Just got back from AAP with some CQ blue oil filters and not sure of the date codes or who made these. The say made in USA CQ Sourcing North Carolina. Here are the date codes and part numbers. Hopefully someone can tell me the date and maker and if I'd be better off with Wix or Napa gold like I usually use. I got them for a little over $5 a piece.

85036 - A43423 - would this be the 342 day of 2014.
85040 - A51182 - 118th day of 2015.

They look a feel like the ones I've used in the past, nice heavy filter.

Those are Champ Lab/Fram type date codes.

yes, they are Fram date codes from their Greenville, OH factory

The Fram CQ blues are VERY good filters! Not exactly a reboxed M1 but really really close. They are better than Wix.

Early 2016 Fram CQ's were made in Albion, IL and have a yellow-dotted date code on top of the can.

These do not have the yellow dots on top. At first I couldn't find the date codes but finally found them just to the right of the sticker and upside down compared to the sticker. They are etched in the can.
