. I would reassess my life and living situation if going out required a weapon.
I'm a VERY strong 2nd Amendment advocate.

Case in point:
My friend is an ER doctor in Houston. He and his wife live in a $4500 a month high rise in the Galleria. Only the richest of the rich can afford to live there. Recently an off duty police officer was killed in a botched robbery attempt as he was coming out of a very expensive restaurant there.

This completely debunks your theory.

I am not for or against 2nd amendment.

However Again I would reassess where I was living:

Statistically speaking, Houston is a not a safe place to visit. It was ranked the 19th most dangerous city in America and it has the higest violent crime rate in Texas for a city with over 20,000 residents.Oct 10, 2021
