Yes. You could use 5w30 if you wanted to. I do

Thanks. They actually have a split pack of 0w20, 5w20 online Costco. My local Costco has it for $30 for 10qts which is more expensive than $35 for 12qts online and it's not a split pack
I went back and bought another round of two boxes of 5w-30 and a box of 15w-40. I blew through everything I got last week.
Yes, and it's quite likely the 0w20 is a better quality product. In the past you would often pay extra for a 0w.
I don't even see the 4 packs on the website any more. All I see are the cases of 12qt singles for $35.
Yea they have been out of stock a little while now. Hope they come back but not sure.

Crossing fingers. Earlier in the thread people were stating they received messages from Costco they would ship their orders for the 5 quart jugs between April 28 and May 2. The sale runs until May 4th, so hoping they relist the 5 quart jugs and start taking orders again this week.
My thought is they didn't want to disappoint customers by taking back orders and are waiting until they have stock and can ship again? Or it might just be wishful thinking on my part and they just want you to buy whatever stock is left in store at this point...
I just got my shipment notice. Tracking says it will be delivered tomorrow (UPS.) I got the 12 quart box of 5W-30.
I don't think it's a good sign that the 4 jug listings are totally removed. They aren't just out of stock.

I didn't hear anything, it's just that you cannot even find the listings any more. Before they were out of stock. Now they are just gone

Ordered on 4/11, shipped today.
2x 0w20 & 2x 5w30.
2x 0w20 & 2x 5w30.
Just spoke with Costco.com order support representative. Essentially they have no idea when and if the orders for 5qt boxes will ship. My order from 4/12 is way down on the list so it’s not expected to ship anytime soon. Warren didn’t provide them with any details on when and if they’re going to able to ship all the orders. I was offered to cancel my order or continue waiting in hopes it’ll eventually ship
My 12 quart box arrived. Inside was two, 6 quart boxes. API SP, GF-6A.
Wow with a 4/22/25 date stamp too.
I expected SQ, but maybe they don't have to do that yet? I'm not sure.
