Any rust down the center tube? I wouldn't run it ... filters are cheap.

If there is corrosion outside what's the inside like. Maybe worse. Maybe flaking.

Filters are not expensive. Don't use it. You could be feeding your engine with corrosive particles that are not good for lubrication.

I wouldn't use it. No way I would use a rusted/corroded filter when a new filter is so cheap. Not worth the chance.
