I have a Frantz on my 2000 4.3 GMC jimmy. They a notorious for intake manifold gasket leaks. Half of me wants to rip it apart and put the newer style gasket in there and half of me says "if it ain't broke don't fix it." Heck, it may have already been replaced? My question is If I sent out an oil analysis would it show a coolant leak if there is a bypass filter installed? Or would the TP roll look weird when I changed it and catch the leaking colant (DEX-cool by the way).
1 more question does auto-rx work as good with a bypass filter installed or does it get stuck in the bypass filter?
Thanks.
