Coolant in engine oil, Is PG coolant less destructive?

PG coolant is less reactive in the engine oil side environment but as Mola says it will still damage bearings over time.

Consider our service and get that analysis properly interpreted.

If this is a HDD OTR or Agr application you need to pin down the source or risk big bucks in repairs.

Lubrication or lack thereof is still the main problem here. The oil thins, you lose hydrodynamic films, and the oil/water emulsion soaks up more nitric acid from combustion forming a mayonaise and black sludge; the tbn drops like a rock when the emulsion soaks up nitric acids.

I have run Sierra PG and Amsoil's old PG.

I feel the old Amsoil is better than the Sierra. I now am using Amsoil's new PG.

From what I remember with Amsoil litterature. Chevron tested the PG vs EG test
