I personally have seen the coolant change colors, like red to orange or orange to pink not blue to yellow. Heat over time will cause the dye to fade somewhat.
My bet is since the coolant was acidic the vinger allterd the entire system.
Imop I would flush the heck out of it. Then refill to a 50-50 mix.
In the future when coolant change is due just do a drain and refill. No need to flush if system is clean.
I flushed out all the old coolant yesterday. It took forever. I did 6 drain and fills with distilled water. Saw a tiny bit of sediment the first 3 times when emptying the drain pan.
When "burping" the water each time using the Lisle 24680 there was a thin brown film.
Time will tell, I think and am hoping it was just the distilled vinegar that made it turn brown.
Now I just have to deal with the serpentine belt making a noise at about 2700rpm.
