Cool nostalgia article on oil and filters

This guy sounds a bit like my dad's friend (my godfather) who had the 1976 AMC Gremlin. I've often wondered what oil and filter he used, but i know it would have been on sale, LOL!

Replace the AMC with Ford and the story is about my maternal grandfather; replace AMC with GM and it is my Dad (oh...and the oil was QS for both!).

Great read!! For my father it was a Ford LTD and Valvoline or Havoline and any filter he could find locally in the small town we lived in-(Gambles store or gas station).
