conventional Valvoline or PYB for 5000 OCI?

I personally believe Pennzoil has the better base stock and additive package. Unless something has changed, Pennzoil (PYB) uses a Group II+ base stock with an Infineum - Afton additive package. Valvoline (WB) uses a Group II base stock with the standard Lubrizoil additive package.

The Pennzoil uses Shell-vis VI Improvers which are some of the best out there.

Valvoline is a good oil, but I would not use it because I do not like the company.

The white bottle add pack looks kinda weak. Having said that, it does return good UOA results, whatever that means. Again, I think PYB is the better oil, but the white bottle will do fine for you as well.

I think they are both good oils but PYB 5 qt. jug is cheaper at Wal-Mart

There are some that like Mobil Clean 5,000, 5qt. jug is only $11 at Wal-Mart.
