Hello all,

Good day. I am new to this forum I need your advice. My car is a front wheel drive with a manual transaxle (no LSD), and it calls for 75w80 EP GL-5 oil.

I am wondering if MT90 is suitable, because I can't find RL 75w90NS.

Thanks in advance.

MT90 is not suitable because it is rated as a GL4 and doesn't have a sufficient EP additive pack for a differential.

why can't you find it?

www.myoilshop.com

just go order it. And just because you don't have a limited slip doesn't mean you HAVE to get the "NS" version on the oil. They are the same price. I have a gear driven limited slip in my Jeep and it doesn't require friction modifiers but I run the regular Redline 75w-90 anyways and NOT the NS. It makes no difference for my application. It was actually better to run the regular during break-in of my new gears too.

The distributor here doesn't carry any 75W-90NS, and we don't have much choices in transmission fluid selection (even other brands). Anyway thanks for feedback.
