Concentric caliper grooves on banjo hole

Purchased 2 03 mustang replacement calipers. Both came with new banjos. One is made by "OEM" and another by Fenco. Fenco has no issue. The other is missing the concentric machined caliper grooves where the crush washer sits(nice flat surface). The crush washers included are silver, probably aluminum, maybe made for this issue?

Parts store of course said there is no issue. Problem is other calipers in a few stores have a fine thread(shouldn't be) and banjos are not easy to get(the others don't come with banjos), and I need to get this done. This car should have a course thread anyway.

Is this an issue for a leak or is it ok to install?

Ford used the same p/n crush washers from 1994-2004 on all the model mustangs, EOAZ-2149-B which is a part number first used in 1980. As far as fine vs coarse, I would insist they get the correct ones, if anything for when you service them in the future.

Are both calipers the same thread on the banjo? The grooves or lack of where the washer goes is not a problem.
If it has grooves they should be nick free (no score lines through the grooves from a screwdriver), if it has non the surface should be fine finished with no scratches.

This is common on some GM aluminum calipers also.

Thanks for all the advice. Threads are the same, its nice and smooth. From what I hear this is not an issue...
