I like to use lifepo4 battery packs because they are a little safer. I have 2 of the 400 and 1 800. The 800 will jump my diesel if needed.

I have the older JNC jump-pack with SLA battery. Lasted many years and just got a new battery off Amazon. But if it's in your trunk and it's 0F outside and your car battery is weak because it's 0F outside then jump-pack will probably not help.

I have never run into the 0F scenario, but I would think heating the pack with body heat or bringing it inside for a few minutes would solve this. If you are stuck, you have nothing to lose.

battery is basically an insulated block of ice, takes quite abit of warming. ie 4+ hours
