Does anyone collect old signs, particularly the old Cattlemens Association signs from different states and know where I can find more? And yes these signs were obtained legally. Im not sure if I should leave the rust spots on the cattlemens sign as is or dab them with Fluid Film. If anyone has old signs for sale let me know.

Those signs you showed have little value. The ones worth collecting will show a well known product from the past.

“Little value?”

So what? If it’s his hobby and something he’s interested in, have at it!

The “ones worth collecting” are the signs you enjoy finding and adding to your collection, regardless of the subject matter.

If the OP is looking to buy and then re-sell the signs, then obviously what is popular and/or rare might bring more money, keeping in mind there are boatloads of fake signs out there, right down to the patina. Think: “oil and gas signs.”

Mobilnissan1991: leave the Fluid Film on the shelf. Not on the sign(s).
