Coffee vs Tea: Statistics and Info

When I was a kid I used to brew up a pot of coffee/tea. Would mix in tea with the ground coffee and then perc it. It was not bad.

So glad you posted that. I did that as well, albeit but once or twice. Didn't care for it. It seemed like a worthwhile experiment, though.

I've tried to drink tea several times. I find it nearly tasteless. I don't add sugar or cream to anything I drink so maybe that's why it seems tasteless?

i like + drink coffee daily 3X but decaf for the later cup. health info varies on both + depends on yourself as well as quantity, + i drink it BLACK but my breakfast is coffee with protein powder + MCT oil only food is organic real peanut butter aka ground peanuts, no sugar or seed oils, helps absorb my vites as A-D-E-K are FAT soluable + without fats absorbtion is POOOR!!

The evidence seems to suggest significant health benefits from coffee and tea drinking including large reductions in the incidence of type II diabetes, for coffee at least.

Had one guy yrs ago tell me he preferred tea as it's for the sophisticated. Gladly told him that it's a lame substitute for those that can't handle coffee, especially espresso which is my only interest.

Decaf out of desperation?
It's a regular coffee with a splash of half/half or nothing. Actually, I have some half-calf Starbucks pods, so there's that.
Doc said 1 cup. I've learned that wanting the coffee, or whatever, is 90% in my head.

I have 2 brain cells left and they argue...

Tea. Earl Grey Hot!

EGH.webp

I have no use for hot tea but I do drink unsweetened iced tea every day with my lunch.
I have two cups of coffee in the morning. LOVE it. I will have a cup later in the day now and then if I need something to go along with a Snickers bar or Coffee Cake Jr.
When I used to work with my dad and brother, three o'clock coffee was a big deal at our shop. I drank a lot more coffee back then.
