I took my car to the trusty folks at the Auto Skills Center at Wright-Patt AFB to have them replace my stablizer bar links. My co-worker almost talked me into changing them myself (he said they're a pice of cake to change), but I'm glad I didn't attempt it. I would've never gotten the old ones off. I just don't have the tools for doing stuff like this. The guy at the ASC had to cut them off with a pneumatic cutter. Once he got the old ones off, the new ones went right on. It took him about 45 minutes to complete the job and he only charged me $25. Unreal! With parts and labor the whole thing cost me only $105. The automotive place I took it to in IL wanted $240 to do the same job. I've got my nice, quiet car back with no more clunking, and without costing me an arm and a leg!
