2005 Chevy Silverado, 5.3. I hear a faint but definite "click" every 5-10 seconds while driving. It appears to originate from under the dash on drivers side.

Wife hates it...I have no idea what to do, any thoughts? Thanks.

I had a noise like that,,it was a feather quill rubbing on the heater fan that got thru the systems cabin air box...

Switch from recycled air to outside air or the other way around, and see if it stops. If it does, you know it's the blend door on that operation.

Midget with a handgun in the footwell.
Now you know where that 5G's went that "mysteriously" disappeared from your Joint account with the spouse.

He's giving you the chance top up the ante. Id give hem 10Gs to cancel the contract, kick him out of the truck, them back over him and take the 10G's back.

simple solution.

Adjust the A/C temperature on one side or the other, by a little bit.

That's how I make the clicking go away on my 2004 Silverado.

This, had that problem on a Silverado and a Impala. The actuators I bought shortly went out,I finally just adjusted it to fresh air and unplugged it.

Probably an actuator.....Not every HVAC door actuator is called a "Blend Door Actuator".

This truck has 2 blend/temp door actuators (Left & right)
Recirculate door actuator
Mode door's actuator (It controls two doors)

Use a stethoscope & find out which one is making the noise.
