Holy Mackerel!!!

I've been using
Simple Green since it came out with no drawbacks whatsoever. I have always cut it with water however. I like the way it leaves the plastics natural looking.

It's also easy to find, any grocery store has it!!!

Cheers!

Simple Green is a great product and will do the job well for nearly every circumstance. The only problem is is that is may fade/dull out some of the engine parts over time. You can see this at car shows with like vehicles back to back with one of them using SG and the other using something else.

I use engine brite (or whatever engine cleaner is on sale) and a cleaning brush from the $1 store (sometimes tooth brushes for some spots) on the thick oil spots.

Then - every few months I'll use purple power diluted 10:1 and use the brushes again on the spots that are the dirtiest. I rince very thoroughly.
