clean nipples

maybe i am a little paranoid ( like most people, i suspect on BITOG ), but i am NEVER satisfied with how clean the ball and surrounding area is on the grease nipple when it comes time to re-lube.

any hints on cleaning or keeping it clean?

i thought i might go to a brake place and scrounge some of the rubber caps from off bleeder nipples

i like clean nipples better than having dirt in your mouth...................... seriously, its going to get dirt on them, just take a clean rag and wipe them off before you grease.. some of you guys trip me out on the level of paranoia lol

that mobil guy georgecls or whatever his name is sells the nipple covers for a reasonable cost. i bought some from him a while ago and they worked as good as any other brand.
