From local B&M. Took the owner some cigars he likes but doesn’t carry so he hooked me up with a nice discount on my purchase plus the free coffin of El Pulpo Culebras
King's Leaf? When we go to Charleston for our yearly vacation I do stop in a local cigar lounge to enjoy a Davidoff Churchill Late Hour a few evenings during the week.
Davidoff is my “bad luck” brand. Think I get hit with nearly every poor qc cigar they release. Most people have great luck with them but I’ve yet to have a really good one & have gone through boxes of them.I only enjoy a couple a month on average, but I’m a sucker for a Davidoff Signauture #2; smoothest smoke I’ve had. Recently had a late hour belicoso but it was a dud as well. Underfilled & overall just meh.Wow.....I've never had a bad one. Try a #2.....I can't imagine you would be disappointed in that one.
Yikes....talk about bad luck; my experience has been the exact opposite. I had my first some years ago when I lived right across the street from a Davidoff Lounge in Atlanta. Covid killed that lounge, unfortunately.Recently had a late hour belicoso but it was a dud as well. Underfilled & overall just meh.
I do cigar trades with several people who really love Davidoff & used to have a Davidoff lounge walking distance to my house. Explored quite a bit of their catalog there. About 1/2 of all their cigars are duds for me. Guys at the lounge would laugh as nearly every one id touch would tunnel, have extremely wavy burn, horrendous plugs, Underfilled, etc.
I just chalk it up to bad luck with that brand at this point.
Same with the one in Sacramento. It’s gone due to the CV lockdown bs.Yikes....talk about bad luck; my experience has been the exact opposite. I had my first some years ago when I lived right across the street from a Davidoff Lounge in Atlanta. Covid killed that lounge, unfortunately.
Nice. I was able to get a few boxes before covid
