Cigar Aficionados' of BITOG, what are you enjoying?

From local B&M. Took the owner some cigars he likes but doesn’t carry so he hooked me up with a nice discount on my purchase plus the free coffin of El Pulpo Culebras

Local B&M owner gave me a pair of original or early release Four Kicks today. Stoked on these since the 2013 H Town Lancero Four Kicks is in my top 3 favorite cigars.

I only enjoy a couple a month on average, but I’m a sucker for a Davidoff Signauture #2; smoothest smoke I’ve had. When we go to Charleston for our yearly vacation I do stop in a local cigar lounge to enjoy a Davidoff Churchill Late Hour a few evenings during the week.

Davidoff is my “bad luck” brand. Think I get hit with nearly every poor qc cigar they release. Most people have great luck with them but I’ve yet to have a really good one & have gone through boxes of them.

Wow.....I've never had a bad one. Try a #2.....I can't imagine you would be disappointed in that one.

Recently had a late hour belicoso but it was a dud as well. Underfilled & overall just meh.

I do cigar trades with several people who really love Davidoff & used to have a Davidoff lounge walking distance to my house. Explored quite a bit of their catalog there. About 1/2 of all their cigars are duds for me. Guys at the lounge would laugh as nearly every one id touch would tunnel, have extremely wavy burn, horrendous plugs, Underfilled, etc.

I just chalk it up to bad luck with that brand at this point.

Yikes....talk about bad luck; my experience has been the exact opposite. I had my first some years ago when I lived right across the street from a Davidoff Lounge in Atlanta. Covid killed that lounge, unfortunately.

Same with the one in Sacramento. It’s gone due to the CV lockdown bs.

Most people seem to have good luck with Davidoff. I’ve never had a really good one. Best I’ve had of theirs id only rate as good but not nearly worth the $40-50/stick they ask for when I can easily grab an $8-15 stick that performs better & consistently. That’s my experience though & I fully understand others have great experiences with the brand
