I’m just waiting for the Darryl Hollenbeck paint job post

I’d use 800 or maybe 1k. I wouldn’t use 500 unless you plan to put a good bit of time into it and then spray it with a gravity-feed air sprayer.Haha, I tried some 2000 grit sanding discs today, and it is quicker than the compound, but I still need to go deeper, may get some 1000 grit, would 500 grit be too far?
Very nice generator. What oil did you put in it and what oil filter? Thank You for all the hard work and updates as wellThis thing does not roll easy over grass! Taking it on a trip through the yard so it can be in its permanent storage location, and in a more shady area so its easier to work on

1000 hour intervals seems insane. I’d love to see a UOA though. I’d likely be surprised. The last owner had a Baldwin B161-S, and I just bought more of them as they were a good deal and seem well regarded
Unknown oil, it only has 100 hours on it since the last owner changed the oil and filter, and Kubota now says 1000 hour OCI, so I don't really want to change it just yet.
I probably won't go to 1000 hours, I'll change it after the next long run, and then go maybe 300 hours after that and send for analysis
Sorry if I missed it, but how is that floating neutral/ bonded switch wired up?
Wouldn’t that need to be sized according to the generators service size? There was a wire connecting the ground bus on the back of the panel, to the neutral bus in the back of the panel, I just put a switch in line
