For a fast food sandwich, Chick-fil-A nails it compared to McDonald's.

Really good English muffin, marinated grilled chicken breast, and the egg simply makes a sandwich close to what one might make at home.

I will try one later today! (no kidding)

Is what looks like a slice of American cheese the only cheese option?
I bet its main job is to provide color as AC has no flavor.

Cheese was ok, not noteworthy.

My two cents-- it's not that hard to deliver a significantly better fast food sandwich..really enjoyed the sandwich.

I will have to try one. Lately I've been going to Dunkin for their $6 breakfast sandwich combo. Subbing American for white cheddar cheese makes a big difference. Hash browns are warmed in a toaster oven or an air fryer. I also sub a bagel for an English muffin. I use the app to do the custom order and select walk-in to avoid the line.

I like their southwest salad. When I reached my 50s, I started liking cole slaw & salads, don't know what's going on there but if I decide not to go for their salad, I'll definitely try that.

With GON's nice, tight review in my head, I drove into a Chick-fil-A as I finished a round of errands.
I went inside but noted attendants taking orders on the car queue....quite organized.

When I asked about a chicken sandwich with an egg white on it, the counterperson told me it was a breakfast item.
DUUHHHH ...I'll never make Detective at this rate.

This C-f-A is brand new. It's on a site where once a large service building which was 1/5 a Firewaters and 4/5 a Hooters stood.
The Firewaters had room for 60 taps. I never saw 15 working.
The best part, however, was that the kitchen was shared and tables of good food often appeared.
'Twas a great bar, but too empty too often.

Most the CFA restaurants here are tucked away in hard to access corners of shopping centers-terrible access. But that beig said-they are always packed.

That sure applies to the 2 closest to me. Both are new buildings and are on irregular corner properties against state highways.
The lots are not impossible, but they would give a first timer pause.

I'd love to know the dine-in : take away ratios
