My comments: Light amber color, no solids visible when holding sample bottle up to the light. Data on bottom of bottle shows that it was probably bottled around late July, early August of 2003. This should provide a good comparison to the Chevron VOA we have on file for about that same time period

Blackstone comments: No problems showed up in this sample of Virgin Havoline 10W30 engine oil. This is a common additive package and should do well in about any type of engine. The TBN read at 8.1. We don't consider the TBN to be a problem until it starts to read at 1.0 or lower. The trace of insolubles and 1 ppm iron are nothing to worry about. These are both common finds in virgin oils.code:
