Bear with me guys but I'm new to your board.
What brings me here is a search for side by side performance tests of Chevron and Texaco oils. Of course most of thiose test will include Pennzoil, Quaker State, and Valvoline among others.
I looked around the board but didn't see anything like that.
My Chevron dealer told me the other day that they might be switching to Texaco since it has much better name recognition in Pennsylvania than Chevron.
I wrote to Chevron/Texaco and they did explain that both oils were formulated differently and Texaco has a more robust additive package.
I have had good results with Chevron and am happy with it but if my bulk supplier is switching then it looks like I will be too.
Can you guys steer me in a direction to find such a performance test?
