Chevron Supreme vs Havoline

Are there really any difference in these two conventional oils?

I have been using the Chevron Supreme but I have to get it from the local distributor because no one stocks in on the shelves around here. Havoline is everywhere. I'm also paying around 1.50 a quart for the Chevron.

Are there any benefits of using Chevron over the Havoline or vice versa? Should I just use the Havoline because its easier and cheaper to get? Thanks,

At this point go with any GF-4 oil-whether its Mobil Drive Clean, Conoco Oils, or Castrol GTX. I have seen the Castrol and Drive Clean oils already.

Go to www.chevron.com and compare the product data sheets. For the GF-3 samples, they are very similar. I decided it was splitting hairs and now I use the Havoline. Like you said, its everywhere.

Not much difference at all, mostly a slight difference i tha levels of calcium and magnesium, maybe moly. Not eonugh to write home about, anyway.
