New to BITOG! I have been a PP follower since it came out and switched from Mobil 1 to PP because of the price. At work, we use chevron lubricants and fuel. Last week a chevron delivery truck was droping off some hydro oil, and I noticed several pallets of cases of chevron supreme synthetic on his truck. I am waiting to find out a price on this oil, but I would like to know if it is good oil? Havent seen anyone use it, dont think I have ever seen it! Anyone have experience? I usually do 6-8k oil changes wix filters.

This stuff is like Sasquatch, and you spotted it. Chevron is top shelf stuff. Get it. Better yet, get it and ship it to BITOG followers that can't find it.

four years old??? its ruined. it will ruin your engine. worse yet, it's now a hazardous material and will cost you a fortune to get rid of. I will dispose of it for you for free if you ship it to me.

Sounds like this is good stuff. How does it compare to PP and Mobil1?

The PQIA VOA on conventional Supreme was excellent. The synthetic has to be right up there with the best.

I dont know the cost yet. Since I work in shipping /receiving dept at work I m gonna try to purchase through the company I work for. They do get a discount of like 20%. I will know for sure next week what the cost is. I had never considered using chevron as I didnt know they made a synthetic. I did last summer purchase a couple of gallons of delo 400 in 10w30 that I got the route driver to bring by were I work. I like that stuff and my tractor likes it too. I am getting low so I mite as well order a couple cases of that again too.

That is fantasticly good oil/synthetic to use. This oil is a sleeper oil like Kendall synhetic and would not hesitate to use it nor grab it off the store shelve if PEP BOYS would get there acts together and standardize what they sell from there shelfs. I admit I have no experience in using it but if it' made by a good oil company/Chevro then you know it's quality made.

can we setup a BITOG co-op and distribute to ourselves?
Sounds like chevron makes great oil. So if say wal mart sold it i wonder how well it would sell? I have kinda got mad at the pp folks cause of there price increases. I still know its good oil, but having to pay $6 bucks more for what was $18-$20 per jug is a good way to push away business. Thats why I walked away the other day at wal mart. Most auto parts stores it is $32 per jug.
