Hi guys & gals. I took my Toyota 98 corolla into a shop for a atf flush and the mechanic added chevron atf md-3 to it which I though was only for fords/gm vehicles. Is it ok for my 98 Toyota corolla ? Thank you.

MD-3 is Mercon-Dexron III so you should be fine. Alot of older Toyota AT's take Dexron III.

Chevron stopped marketing Iso-Syn on their "consumer" products a while ago - but I'd still use it with no worries here.

Dexron III(H) was the previous upgrade to Dexron VI.

As long as the manual calls for Dexron III, you can use it. Many Toyota and Nissan transmissions called for Dexron III before the year 2000.
