Ok, mostly 'creative rule interpretation'

Youtube recommended one of these vids for me the other night. I found a few of them pretty amusing. Lead me to look up the actual 'cheats' and do some reading about them.

McLaren and their second brake pedal 1997 (Used to help steer the car) - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/McLaren_MP4/12

Mercedes and their driver adjustable toe 'Dual Axis Steering' (2020) - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dual-axis_steering

I will say that there is certainly plenty of times that teams have actually cheated, but, at the same time, just because something is banned doesn't mean that it was actual cheating. Often, rules aren't written well & that lack of clarity is exploited to the fullest extent. I would not be able to argue out of both sides of my mouth like the teams do so often.

I can remember red bull racing getting creative with the rear wing design. It wasn't cheating but Ferrari was ticked that a small team got creative and the FIA ok'd it.

Only winners cheat in racing. My ex son inlaw who drives late models just called last week trying to find a way to cheat better so he could start winning 🤣
