Cheapest new gas lawn mower

I gave up on gas mowers after 2 replacement mowers were duds in 3 years.

the 60v toro mower(bought at 50% off) works fine for my 10-15min of trimming per week. uses about 25% of the 5ah battery. and I have a couple 2.5ah batteries for string trimmer and blower.
I expect 5-10 years of service out of it.

The last few new cheapies I've bought, I've mail ordered through Walmart when they had rollback pricing on them, or just an overall odd-ball low price on them. I usually give them away to someone in need, as I do with stuff I acquire and fix up. A few years back I picked up this odd ball 18" Senix gas push mower from Wally for around $130. It has a plastic deck and is super compact, light and easy to fold up. I like it when I need to toss it in my trunk / hatch to run to my mom's house to mow her lawn.

Not great for the average owner who fills with untreated E10 and leaves it to sit year round. It does work out well for me though, this 1985 HR214's carb just needed a date with the ultrasonic. Cost less than two whopper combos and will outlive the green thing above.View attachment 343732
I had one of these, got it free from a colleague. Needed a carburetor cleaning and a wheel adjuster lever. Once I got it running, it would smoke like a son of a gun! Used it for a while and then traded for a self propelled MTD with a brand spanking new B&S 5.5 Intek OHV Platinum engine and mulching blade.

I also have a basic push Honda mower and a commercial Honda HRC215, both were free non running mowers; not anymore!
