Cheap engine and transmission oil analyses???

I'm looking for the labs that do these tests cheaply. I see Amsoil and Blackstone at around $35. Maybe a local place would be cheaper or something I just haven't heard of yet...even like a tester that I can order to use at home.

$35 is as cheap as I have ever seen it (Napa is around that price I believe.)

If you're concerned with your engine enought to do an anlaysis, I would think you should put some stock into getting what you paid for.

It looks like NAPA is $10 cheaper, or am I missing something? I guess pick up and drop off at a NAPA store, right?

I like how Amsoil drop punted that 110 filter I ordered last night. It's here tomorrow quick.

the last samples I was billed about $33.00 CAD.
AGAT labs.
It is somewhat local to me, and I can drop the samples off, & save mailing charges.

Amsoil says they can test tran oil. Someone there just got back to me about it.

Any of the big name labs can test transmission fluid. Testing prices are “usually” roughly the same whether engine oil or transmission fluid.

There is that word again....CHEAP.....remember you get what you pay for....

The price for UOA is the same for both motor oil and transmission fluid

You can pick up the kit at Napa, but you mail it to one of the labs listed on the sheet that's included in the kit. When you mail it out, put the canister in a box. Don't just mail the black canister because the post office often gives people a hard time when they do that
