cheap dash cam?

I have a cheap dash cam - however the issue is that it looses the time / date whenever I un-power it. So its always 1-1-2000.

Anyone have a suggestion on a cheap dash cam that lacks this feature?

A good solid dirt cheap dash cam is the B1W from BlueSkySea




I picked up a bunch of them during a group buy years ago for $30 bucks a pop and outfitted every car in our household with one.

It's tiny, simple to use (just set it and forget it) has low current draw for round the clock use and I have yet to see one fail.

I am super happy with my 70mai from the amazon machine. It's shaped/sized like a roll of quarters and has a nice solid mount and mounts with an adhesive strip to your glass. It takes a micro SD and it links with wifi to your phone. It has some voice commands which is cool. It's awesome for $40.
