Changes To Emission Rules (video news)

Unless I'm understanding, emission testing of vehicles focuses on unburned hydrocarbons and oxides of nitrogen. Not CO2. The political leanings over the recent years focus on reducing CO2, though, which is next to impossible, without going electric. And putting the brakes on that is a good thing, in my opinion. Also, CARB has continued to escalate the cap and trade penalties for gasoline producers, due to CO2 emissions being related to gasoline usage, and that has a high cost for gas users at the pump. Pulling that back in will save people so effected a lot of money.
