car has 91500 miles and been using fully synthetic oil since purchased new. pretty clean inside imo.

When I first got the car I was using Mobil 1. Then I switched to Royal Purple for a couple oil changes. When Castrol Edge came out I used that about 3 times then switched to Pennzoil Ultra and I think I'm gonna stick with that.

Lookin` good! I`ve noticed engines that have been run all their life on synthetic are never varnished up. They`re always clean as new.

Also just curious, how bad was the valve cover leaking?

Yup, it is. It was leaking just a little bit around the corners. Figured it was time to replace anyway.

clean engine but it seems it could be cleaner especially since nothing but quality synthetics have been used. i guess it varies from engine to engine...

Nice work on keeping it clean!

How long are your OCIs?

I think the 2.4 Turbo engine is pretty easy on the oil, has oil squirters and a nice oil cooler.

When I painted the VC and Intake I changed the VC gasket and spark plug well donut gaskets on my PT GT at 100K and it was spotless inside, but I do run AMsoil, Mobil 1 and PP.
