I am thinking if should change the oil in my Hyundai ix35 1.6 Gdi (same veloster engine). The last service was done 12000 km and the next one is due in 3-4k km. The oil was last changed 5000 km before without a filter change. The oil used was Mobil 1 esp formula 5w30. The car is used for mix of city and highway driving. Not many short trips. The oil now is very dark color and am thinking if I should do a change now and leave it for 3-4k km until the next service.If i change it i will use castrol magnatec 5w30.
