change intervals???

Hello all,glad I found this site!! I learn so much from you all!! I have a 2002 ford focus with the 2.0spi motor with 53,000 on it. I am using Mobil 1 and was wandering what my oil change intervals should be????

I'd go with whatever change interval is recommended in your owners manual, probably 6 months of 7500 miles.

Run a 10K interval with the M1, then run a UOA with TBN.
If the UOA comes out good, go 15K from then on.

Oh yeah, and his manual will read 5K/6 months for non-severe driving if I recall right.
