Change interval for PP in GM SC 3.8

New to the forums. I have Supercharged 3.8 that just turned 100k. Had Mobil 1 for 30k and PP for last 15K or so. I chnage oil between 5000-6000 miles. Is this about right/ I plan on doing analysis at next change.

My "guesstimate" says you're fine, but only a UOA will tell you. Make sure you get a TBN.

You are probably fine. Keep in mind that Pennzoil only warrantees their oil for parts and labor for 4,000 miles or 4 months, whichever occurs first. They really should extend that, but SOPUS wants it customers to change their oil very frequently, especially at their Jiffy Lubes. I wonder why????

Platinum will do a great job for you at those intervals. Don't worry about the hype of warranties and Jiffy Lube's, you have better things to do with your time.
