Removed from our 305,000 mile 2003 Accord V6 (J30A4) a little over 7000 miles in service.

Nothing abnormal. Continue to like these filters, which is nice because I bought a dozen of them and I'm only halfway through.

Interesting bypass valve assembly configuration. Is it held in the end cap by a friction fit? Can you pull it out of the end cap?

Hrm, dunno. That's the only part I didn't pull out.

The Acura is due a change and it is using the same filter. When I cut that one apart I'll see how that works.

Looks good! I run my Honda Fit oil filter for two OCI’s. I also change my oil based on the OLM which is usually 8-10k. That filter could go another 7k easy. Thanks for posting

Filter "element" looks fine at 7k miles, but from the pics I can't figure out where the bypass located. It
'seems' deeply recessed in the center tube. Can't recall seeing anything like it before.

Thanks for c&p.
