Champion Labs is not the same company it was 10+ years ago that seemed to care about quality and was more end user customer oriented. Having been sold and bought a few times since, they serve a different master that gives us the borderline junk issues we see today.

A Toyota filter that was mislabeled and put in the wrong box.
If you have something that requires a 4967 or 4386, it will probably spin right on.
In other words, that’s a PH2840XL

Incidentally, my daughter is replacing the CSX with RAV4 which uses this filter, I'll cut one to see the materials and build before deciding to use the rest on the car.
